Mission

The Faculty of Letters commits itself to function as a faculty which undertakes research & education activities, grant projects and field work in the light of universal values; a faculty which trains productive, creative and questioning individuals, who are open to change and improvement while never leaving the path of critical thinking and research, to take charge in various fields of the community and lastly, a faculty which contributes to science and art along with the social and cultural life.

The Faculty of Letters aims to become a faculty of which students, personnel and alumni are proud; a faculty that has a distinguished place among the faculties of letter in the national and international arena; a faculty which trains individuals equipped with the knowledge of the information age, social sensitivity and social awareness; a faculty which sets examples for other institutions in the society.
